The unlived

A nameless, closed chapter

Dreams dead

Devoid of hope, aspiration and laughter

The world turns red

Whilst still within

Cherished

Waiting to begin

Why perished

Lights, Cold steel

Agony, anxiety

Desperate appeal

To any devil or deity

Aeons blur detail

Quelling your essence

Yet still I rail

In despair for your presence

Off to Paris Monday.   Sadly just overnight, meeting in the hotel near the airport and then back home.  Oh well, I suppose looking at the shops in Charles De Gaulle airport is a bit thrilling.
